  • Safeguarded the reputation, brand and valuation of a global government contractor targeted with a corporate campaign by a three-union alliance in the US and select members of a global union federation, exposing the conflict of interest inherent in the use of newsrooms represented by one of the unions involved to generate and influence negative labor-related media coverage about the target.

  • Advised a not-for-profit on managing the scrutiny associated with a landmark antitrust matter brought by a state attorney general in coordination with private plaintiffs, safeguarding the organization’s reputation and brand from the magnitude of the eventual settlement.

  • Analyzed four-years’ worth of media coverage, digital data, socio-economic and regional reputation trends to inform a large landowner’s lessons learned and go-forward communications strategy following a high profile and combative proposed expansion project.

  • Identified and exposed a pretexting incident by an activist organization, devising a strategy that compelled the successful return of wrongfully obtained information from a retailer before it became public.  

  • Mitigated the reputational and brand impact of a ransomware attack affecting the IT systems of a Global 100 corporation, including related leaks by the cybercrime group involved to targeted news media.

  • Led a strategic communications campaign in support of a retail chain’s protracted contract negotiations with its unions, contributing to new agreements and the successful aversion of a strike over benefits.

  • Readied a university and its board of trustees to rename select campus assets following an investigation into their historical origins.

  • Conducted a landscape analysis of early COVID-19 hot spots nationwide to identify predictive insights and best position a large health system in California to rapidly and transparently communicate about prospective surges among its hospitals.

  • Led scenario and readiness planning including an analysis of costs/benefits, variables and possible outcomes to inform internal decision-making and strategy related to select program operations for one of the top universities in the world.

  • Mitigated the reputational impact of a top-trending Netflix docuseries sensationalizing the role of a global government contractor in its subject matter.

  • Coordinated a multinational company’s strategic response to a federal elected official's online and offline public pressure to limit aspects of its operations, followed by the building of a digital monitoring and response infrastructure to inoculate against future risks and manage the online environment going forward.

  • Counseled an involved party through reputational risks, including investigative media scrutiny and litigation, related to the U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts’ “Operation Varsity Blues.”

  • Readied a Global 50 corporation to proactively manage and mitigate a multi-year investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice and Environmental Protection Agency, including the resulting multi-district litigation and “historic” civil settlement with the government, maintaining record sales in the process.

  • Mined three-years’ worth of global digital data to analyze the reputational risks and predictive insights of a development project involving multiple institutions and governments and facing militant and extremist opposition.

  • Effectively prepared a Fortune 10 and Fortune 100 corporation for master contract negotiations with their unions, including the management of their rapid response operations and standing up physical and virtual war rooms.

  • Led preparedness planning and crisis response for a Global 50 corporation affected by the Takata airbag inflator recalls, the largest in U.S. history, working in tandem with myriad legal teams on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation, congressional inquiries, multi-district litigation and related regulatory violations.
